Praise Reports home|about|praise reports

Fort Myers Christian School (FMCS) receives a lot of praise reports every year. There is no doubt that we indeed are making an impact and a difference. FMCS has a very good reputation in the community and with the parents. We have several teachers and staff members who have been here since the school started in 1979. Here are some of statements we have received recently:

Productive Citizens/Impacting Others for Christ!

Friday was a great day for receiving praise reports! Our missions statement concludes with our goal of leading our students to be "productive citizens in society and impact others for Jesus Christ." At school, I found out from our music teacher, Mrs. Gulbronson, that three of her 8th graders from last year had successful singing auditions at their new high schools - Kaysee Donathan at Ft. Myers High, Megan Bowen at Cypress Lake and Katie Edwards at North Ft. Myers High School! When I came home, I had two letters in the mail with updates from two of our alumni and their their life-changing summer mission trips: Josh Comerīs missions trip to Peru and Jeff Richterīs trip to Zambia, Africa! We are very proud of these young people and happy that FMCS had a chance to be a part of their lives.

Thank you!

"I want to say thank you for allowing me to come to your school! FMCS has changed my life and it was great going on my first missions trip with you guys. I wish I could stay longer and just enjoy it here, but it was a pleasure being here. FMCS made a difference...in my life."

Gabby Messmer, Alumni Praise

Itīs Gabby Messmer. FMCS from 1997-2001. I visited the schoolīs website and saw how everything has expanded, which is amazing. Anyway things are going good for me. Iīm taking the MCATs in two days and then sending in my primary application for medical school. If it is Godīs will, I hope to one day go on Christian medical mission trips around the world. College has been an interesting experience. You meet so may people with different backgrounds and different faiths. But I just wanted to say that you and all of the other teachers at FMCS (Ms. Smith, Mr. Burdette, Ms. Boeck, Mr. Alexander) really set my life in the right direction spiritually and academically. I donīt think I would have the heart that I have for God now if it werenīt for your passion for him and your willingness to serve him. I had some of the best memories take place while I was at FMCS and sometimes I wish I could go back to that time. I donīt know if you ever knew this but you and all the other teachers had such a big impact on my life that I will never forget. You are truly appreciated. I pray God continues to bless you, your family and the school.

FMCS Sings National Anthem

I just wanted to let you how wonderful the Fort Myers Christian School Chorus sounded Saturday night at the Everblades Hockey game. We have season tickets to the Everblades Hockey and have probably been to over 30 home games just this season. The Fort Myers Christian School Chorus was by far the best performance of the season. You all should be very proud of these fine young men and women. Great job, Mrs. Gulbronson and the Fort Myers Christian School Chorus!!!!!
