Our Fifteenth Year 1993-1994

Miss Trish Hart joined the faculty in 1994. She later married computer teacher/tech Mr. Larry Lanahan and became Mrs. Trish Lanahan.

Pastor Brad Liebe joined the Church staff as the Youth Pastor in 1993, and took over the middle school chapels. Pastor Liebe eventually rose to the position of Assistant Senior Pastor, but left in the spring of 2008.

The varsity soccer team poses with Olympic decathlon bronze medalist Dave Johnson. This was the first year for the entire school to have a uniform dress code. Only two styles of shirts in three or four different colors purchased from a uniform company were allowed to be worn on campus. The specifics of the dress code have changed a little, but the uniform dress code is still enforced today. Since 1994, there has been a national trend in public schools to have strict dress codes or uniform dress codes also. All schools in Lee county now have strict dress codes, and a few, like Dr. Carrie D. Robinson Littleton elementary, have uniform dress codes.

Hopes to reopen a high school were raised in 1993 when we started a ninth grade class. But financial restraints prevented the class to continue at FMCS. The following year, we returned to being a preschool through eighth grade school.
