| Growing
up: Miss Shrader comes to us from the great state of Nebraska.
She grew up in the Omaha
area. She lived in the city until age 12, and in the country until she
left for college at age 18. She has two younger brothers.
Education: She graduated from Platteview High School in Springfield, Nebraska in 1982. From 1983-1987 she attended Chadron State College in Chadron, Nebraska where she earned a B.A. in Library Science. In 1994 she earned her M.A. in Library and Information Science from the University of South Florida. FMCS: Miss Shrader began work as the library media specialist at Fort Myers Christian School in the fall of 1987. She was the advisor of the school yearbook, The Talon, from 1990-2009. She was the recipient of the FMCS Golden Apple Award in 1995 and 2004. Personal: Her favorite football team is, of course, the Nebraska Cornhuskers. She has two cats, Choctaw Brave and Hopi Rain, and a dog named Montana Sky. Miss Shrader has two daughters, Anna and Nicky.
